About Me:: We are a family of 7 dogs, 2 horses, chickens and a very confused cat. I volunteer with several rescues, and enjoy every minute of it! Our dogs are all rescues, and are as follows (in order of age)
1) MoeJoe

8) Skinny Cat (dont ask...my husband named him)

Transport

Well, this has been the first transport I have done in ages. These high gas prices are really pinching everyone, and making it very difficult for ANY rescue to get these dogs to new, safe, loving homes. But, with a lot of determination we did it again! This special pup was an English Pointer named "Paul". He was 2 hours from being gassed to death in a high kill shelter in St. Pauls, NC. He was pulled, vetted and on his way to CT! At 1:34am on May 13th, 2008, Garrett said…: Thanks thats our Jake we got him from a kill shelter in TN...he had mange when first arrived and was so thin,it was horrible...He was so scared when you would walk towards him he would just pee....It took several months of extra love and yummy treat to get him to trust us. He is the BEST Son we could ever have wished for. He is still shy with new people but I know he feels safe with us here. Makes me cry just thinking about how he acted when he first came to us..We love all our fur kids but Jake holds a very special place in our hearts..
